The examination is basically composed of three parts of questions, totaling up to a sum of 720 marks for 180 questions, 90 from biology and 45 each from Physics and Chemistry. With a negative marking of -1 for each wrong answer and +4 marks for each right answer, the competition is tough. The examination this year was conducted all over India on 5th May. A total of 717127 candidates were eligible to appear in the out of which 658040 candidates appeared in the test and 366317 candidates have qualified the test.
